Establishing a good relationship between therapist and patient – which is the task of the former – is essential for the success to improve the patients’ quality of life.
In addition, the person concerned has to feel good about the environment where he/she will be worked with therapeutically.

The “setting” involves among other things schedule (50-60min/unit), the manner of the therapy program, remuneration and so on.

Yet the first conversation can play a key role in the further – successful – relationship between therapist and patient and can therefore influence the process of recovery.

Concluding I would like to point out that there can’t and won’t be any “one-way street” while working with me as a therapist. I totally put myself out for my clients, but success also depends on cooperation between therapist and patient.

Only by close collaboration a jointly formulated aim for recovery can be achieved efficiently!
